Breda has a post with this interesting quote from the Anti-gun Jodi Foster:
“Look, it’s terrible, I know, but weakness really, really bugs me, to the point that if there is a wounded bird on the sidewalk, I look at it and I go: ‘I think I’ll just kick it.’” (Daily Mail, 27 May, 2008)
A number of people have pointed similar things out: some (not all) of the rabid anti-gun folks are angry, bitter people (The WSJ backs me up on this), and they think that everyone else must be just like them. They do not trust themselves with guns, because they think that they would use them inappropriately, and project that mindset on everyone else.
