Scarlett Johansson made a step to buck the rising tide of antisemitism in the world and stepped down as an “ambassador” for Oxfam International after the organization raised a stink about her association with Sodastream. Seriously. Apparently one does not simply advertise for companies based in Israel. At least not if one wants to be in with the ever tolerant left.
