Great news. Fewer officers killed in the line of duty is a Good Thing.
Then there was this:

Huh. People must be growing immune to the mind control waves from guns that make you want to shoot people. Or maybe, More Guns = Less Crime, or at least fewer officer homicides. At worst, the two are not linked.
