I understand the presumptive close

But having your seat on your campaign plane marked “President” is way past that. If you are not familiar with the presumptive close, it consists of talking (usually in a sales presentation) as though a deal is done, and you are only wrapping up the details, i.e. what color you will be taking it in. Used in campaigning it might be something like talking about when you are elected, instead of if. You obviously run the risk of seeming conceited or whatever. Obama is no longer running the risk, he is proving it day after day. He is an arrogant, conceited, over confident, over the top candidate. Oh yeah, lest we forget, he is also a socialist.
