I think this is important to remember, not only because it can get us to freedom, but can help send a message. And if you choose to move, consider writing the local politicians, both where you are moving from, and were you are moving to, and let them know that you are moving, and why. While it may not accomplish much, especially in the area you are leaving, it is better than leaving them to guess. And if you feel that way, it is pretty certain others do, as well.
