Hawaii is dropping it’s universal child health care program after only 7 months. Why? Because people are dropping health coverage that they had been paying for, and switching to the universal coverage. The blindingly obvious was stated by Dr. Kenny Fink, who said “People who were already able to afford health care began to stop paying for it so they could get it for free, I don’t believe that was the intent of the program.”

A socialist program that didn’t go as intended? You’re kidding, right?

The problem with socialism is not just the moral problem of taking money from those who earned it, and giving it to someone who didn’t, it’s the fact that time and again, it hasn’t worked.
