I ended up ‘winning’ an Idaho hunter education canvas bag thingy for being a top shot. I’m thoroughly stoked to use said canvas bag thingy as a reusable grocery bag at the hippie food co-op.
Congrats to Laurel for finishing up the Hunter Education program. I need to find my hunter education card and get a small game license again one of these years.

You know, to be totally fair to the hippie food co-op, we’ve open carried in there a billion times and never gotten so much as a sideways glance… whereas we’ve butted heads with staff at a mainstream grocery store, the local big sporting goods/outdoor store, and Wal-Mart (none of which we patronize any longer). Nor have we managed to get a reaction over our anti-Che or ‘Bet You’ll Vote Next Time, Hippie!’ shirts. I think I might actually have to go in there dragging a dead deer before I could get anybody to comment!
