The last Milwaukee Common Council meeting for Michael McGee was today. But he wasn’t there. Why? Because he is sitting in the Waukesha County Jail, awaiting charges ranging from public corruption, including extortion, to threatening to beat up or kill someone. Last I knew, they hadn’t even charged his with the whole two names and Social Security numbers thing. What makes this truly shameful is that he not only did not resign, but actually ran for office. And it doesn’t end there. He got the most votes in the primary! With a large number of people running, I suppose it isn’t too surprising, and he did only get about 30% of the vote, but with what was know, he shouldn’t have gotten 3%. However, he fortunately lost in a landslide in the general election. Good Bye, and good riddance.
