If you read the article, she addresses that. GW RAN as a Conservative, or at least more Conservative, but didn’t do very well at all governing that way.
[Correction] It was a local radio host that read the article that must have added the Bush commentary, I still think it is mostly correct.

How low have some on the right wing fallen if they feel that ANN COULTER is worthy of serious consideration? If her level of disocurse is what those on the right want to bring to the table, I say bring it on, but be prepared for decades of being out of power. I would offer that sane, serious Republicans need to shun the likes of Coulter and Limbaugh.

Vinnie, I’ll take Ann Coulter over Michael Moore any day. I don’t always like her, but considered her right in this case.
