No wonder the Democrats are for higher taxes
Only the little people pay them.
A second Obama appointee has been exposed as a tax cheat, and so far lacks the integrity to step down. HHS nominee Tom Daschle is behind about $146,000 in taxes, following Tim Geithner.
The Democrats apparently think it’s fine to raise taxes on everyone else, and then just not pay them. Makes it easy. But if a corporation or CEO uses legal means to minimize their taxes, they are cheats, unpatriotic, etc.
And to top that off, healthcare goups paid Daschle $220k. No conflict of interest for the Secretary of Health and Human Services there. Move along, nothing to see here, folks.
If George Bush or John McCain nominees had any of this sort of thing, the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) would have been in hysterics, but not if they are Obamasiah appointees.
It’s past time for the Obama administration to show some of the character they keep talking about, and demand that Daschle resigns.
“CEO uses legal means to minimize their taxes, they are cheats”….. No, they are f—ing hypocritical. And the only reason it remains legal, is because government have been in the pockets of those CEOs for years. Government is private.
