Unfortunately

May 12, 2009

I’ve felt kind of like this lately. And I know some others have, too.

One year

March 13, 2009

I started this blog. 365 day, 792 posts, 46,987 hits, (36,321 visits, according to SiteMeter) and 462 comments, and getting mentioned in USAToday isn’t too bad a start.

Thank you everyone who reads, comments, links, and whatever else. I appreciate you all very much.

In other news, JayG celebrates 2 years today. Congrats!

Sorry about the lack of posting

Sorry about the light posting

Blogroll Update

December 5, 2008

Doing some maintenance, I realized that my blogroll was hopelessly out of date, including some almost embarrassing omissions. So to set that right, I added:
Politics, Guns & Beer
Sharp as a Marble
The Countertop Chronicles
View From the Porch
Looking for Lissa
Rustmeister’s Alehouse
pdb
The Munchkin Wrangler
No Looking Backwards

I know there are more I need to add, maybe this weekend…

In case anyone noticed

November 25, 2008

I changed the category for Barack Obama going forward from “The Obamanation” to “Barack Obama” after the election. I believe that there is a level of respect due the president, no matter how deeply you disagree with his policies.

Good, I’m not the only one

and you know, often the hardest part of writing a blog is coming up with titles. Sometimes I’m so stymied that I just scrap the whole post.

All too true…
