…and that’s assuming 6.5 ammo, which is actually fairly plentiful by comparison to 7.35 Carcano. (This is like saying snow cones are common in hell in comparison to banana daiquiris.) – Tam
CRUFFLE CRUFFLE CRUFFLE
January 6, 2009My C&R finally showed up today, enabling me “to acquire curios and relics in interstate commerce.” That and qualify for some nice discounts at places like Brownells and MidwayUSA.
Doh!
December 9, 2008So I finally heard from BATFE on my C&R application. Looks like I sent an old version of the form, and they need the current one. I wish they would have told me that 3 months ago. So, they are sending me a copy of the new one, and I need to send it back. It sounds like it should be processed soon after that, not another 90 days.
C&R Update
December 3, 2008After 3 months of waiting for my C&R, I decided to call the ATF to make sure there weren’t any errors, or that the packet was not shipped 2 months ago, and got lost or anything. Turns out they are still “proccessing” my application.
The woman I talked to was very helpful and friendly, so I guess they do exist there. I am told licensing is usually pretty good, enforcement is the part you don’t want to do business with.
Anyways, she said she would bring my application to the attention of a supervisor or something because it had taken so long, and that I should call back in a week.
And so the wait continues.
C&R Update
September 10, 2008The check for my C&R FFL hit the bank account today, one week after I sent it in…
C&R
September 2, 2008I sent in my paperwork for a C&R FFL. After this recommendation, and a few similar ones, I figured it would be a good investment.
