After reading Lawdog and Roberta’s reviews of the Pilot Varsity
Fountain pens always appealed to the ludite in me. There is just something right about them. Not that ballpoints are bad, but I like fountain pens.
Anyways, I’ve been using them for the last week or so, and the Varsity writes well, and is kind of uniqe, which is fun. If you like fountain pens, or think you might, they are worth checking out. Not that they would replace a nice one, but they are certainly safer to bring on the road, since it would hurt a lot less to lose it somewhere.
