Obama has drawn some criticism for the event pass that looks like the American flag is upside-down. This is against flag etiquette, and is seen as yet another sign of Obama lacking patriotism. I have another possible explanation: The upside-down flag is a sign of distress, and given Obama’s rather rough 4 weeks, and slide in the polls, this might be an actual distress call.

The DNC stated the up-side down flag was not intentional, but one only knows these things. As far as I am concern it was, even if it was subconsciously done.
