However you feel about abortion, (for the record, I am pro-life) this should be a revealing look at Obama. He is in the middle of what is essentially the toughest interview process for the most powerful secular position in the free world, probably the entire world, and he is either saying that he is not ready to lead in difficult issues like abortion, or he thinks there is something higher on the “pay grade” than POTUS. I would say he isn’t ready for that pay grade. Or maybe he thinks the U.N. or the “global community” is higher on the pay scale than the president, and that should also be revealing. I suppose they would say that he meant that there were higher scientific and moral authorities than the president, but if you want that position, you had better have a position on abortion, and be able to stand behind that.
