As we pulled out of the driveway and headed down the street, Mike said, “There. It’s official. You are a now free person, no longer a subject.” I looked over at him and started laughing. I felt my world change. It’s a wild feeling – enormous freedom and enormous responsibility all at once.

It’s a great feeling to have a ccw. We live in Nevada and my wife and I carry everywhere, except our work. We are teachers. With the violence in schools, I wish they would let us carry there. Two years ago, a fellow came to our school and killed a man. It made me wish that I was carrying at the time for my protection and the protection of the students. Anyway, if any legislator tries to take away our guns, I think they will have a problem is this nation, with multi-millions of ccw holders. It’s great to live in America with all of our rights. What a great country.
